Muhammad Jbara

Muhammad Jbara received his Ph.D. from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology in the group of Prof. Ashraf Brik, where he worked in the chemical synthesis of complex modified proteins for structural and functional studies. In 2019, he joined the laboratory of Prof. Bradley L. Pentelute at MIT as a Fulbright, Rothschild, and VATAT postdoctoral fellow, focusing on the application of organometallic chemistry to develop novel bioactive macromolecules for therapeutic applications. In 2022, he was appointed as a tenure-track assistant professor at the School of Chemistry, Tel Aviv University. His research group is dedicated to advancing the chemical biology of transcription factor proteins and designing novel therapeutic modalities for biomedical applications.
