John Karas

John Karas has extensive experience in peptide chemistry. He worked in several peptide contract manufacturing organizations and startups prior to him obtaining a PhD at the University of Melbourne in 2016. He commenced his independent research career in 2022 at the School of Chemistry (University of Melbourne) with a fellowship from the Australian Research Council. His current research is focused on peptide synthesis methodology, insulin analogue development, antimicrobial peptides, and enzyme stabilisation.
