Clarence Wong

Dr. Clarence T. T. Wong is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Applied Biology and Chemical Technology, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He obtained his Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore under the supervision of Professor James P. Tam, and his B.Sc. in Biochemistry from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Dr. Wong research group specializes in developing innovative methodologies for peptide ligation and cyclization, with applications in drug discovery and chemical biology. Recently, his team has expanded into the emerging field of chemical immunology, utilizing chemical approaches to engineer immune cells and immune-related biologics for cancer immunotherapy.
