Christian A. Olsen is a professor and Vice Chair of the Department of Drug Design and Pharmacology at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark. 

He received his M.Sc. from the Technical University of Denmark in 2000 and his Ph.D. from the Royal Danish School of Pharmacy in 2004. After his postdoctoral fellowship at Scripps Research in La Jolla, CA, he returned to a faculty position at the Technical University of Denmark and in 2014 he accepted his current professorship.  

His research interests include peptide chemistry, HDAC inhibitors, protein lysine acylation, as well as the investigation of peptide-mediated virulence in Gram-positive bacteria.
